In 2011, Rob formally incorporated Brightstar Builders around a single conviction: that design and construction should never be separated. Most builders hand clients off to an architect, then take the plans and build from them. Brightstar does both. Rob built a team with Logan Brown as Lead Estimator and Design Consultant — creating a true in-house design-build operation that’s the only one of its kind in Northeast Florida.

Logan Brown is the human proof of Brightstar’s in-house design team. As Lead Estimator and Design Consultant, Logan bridges the gap between what clients imagine and what can actually be built — bringing design thinking and construction reality into the same room from the very first conversation.
His work spans the full arc of every project: from interpreting a client’s vision into buildable plans, to estimating costs with precision, to ensuring that the design decisions made early translate correctly into the finished space. Logan is the reason Brightstar clients never hear “that’s not what the plans showed.”
